We are looking for people to fill these positions:





Service Manager

Work Description:

Manage and provide service & repairs for incoming service calls on a variety of PV systems including Residential PV, Inverter maintenance, Commercial PV maintenance, troubleshooting and repairing ground faults, communications and monitoring issues and any other PV System problems.  This position could include regular installation work as well.

Responsibilities:

  • Receive maintenance calls
  • Manage and maintain a service schedule
  • Coordinate service calls with customers

Job Requirements:

  • Must be comfortable with working on roofs
  • Able to lift 60 lbs
  • Must be proficient with ladder use and safety measures
  • Able to work in extreme environmental conditions of heat/cold
  • Able to kneel, crouch, and balance in all working environments

Experience Desired:

  • Advanced knowledge of PV industry
  • Prior experience in tech support
  • Prior experience in troubleshooting PV systems
  • Electrical knowledge
  • Preference for those with an electrical license
  • Preference for those with NABCEP certification

Compensation:

  • hourly wage, part time or full time
  • flexible schedule
  • $22-$30 per hour, DOE

Solar Installer

Work Description:

This position is for people capable of installing solar equipment and wiring on job sites located along the front range. Typical solar installations require working on sloped roofs, or erecting ground structures for securing equipment. People with construction and trade backgrounds who are comfortable working at heights and are familiar with fall protection should apply. We are also interested in people with little or no experience that are willing to learn.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform installation tasks required to complete job
  • Ensure work safety protocols are followed
  • Install mounting hardware and/or structures
  • Assemble equipment
  • Perform DC wiring of solar arrays
  • Maintain a clean and organized job site
  • Help manage and restock work vehicles
  • Attend training sessions and job safety meetings

Job Requirements:

  • Must be comfortable with working on roofs
  • Able to lift 60 lbs
  • Assist with large equipment installation
  • Must be proficient with ladder use and safety measures
  • Able to work in extreme environmental conditions of heat/cold
  • Able to kneel, crouch, and balance in all working environments

Experience Desired:

  • Construction experience
  • Roofing experience
  • Electrical knowledge
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Preference for those with an electrical license
  • Preference for those with NABCEP certification

Compensation:

  • hourly wage, full time or part time
  • $17-$22 per hour, DOE

Summer Internship

Work Description:

Work on commercial flat-roof projects taking place April-September 2022 on a flexible basis. Hours per week may vary from 16 to 40+ depending on project schedule and employee availability.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform installation tasks required to complete job
  • Ensure safety systems are properly used and maintained
  • Moving equipment, racking, modules, ballast blocks
  • Reading plan sets
  • Map and document system layout
  • Perform DC wiring of solar arrays
  • Maintain a clean and organized job site
  • Attend training sessions and job safety meetings

Job Requirements:

  • Must be comfortable with working on roofs
  • Able to lift 60 lbs
  • Assist with large equipment installation
  • Must be proficient with ladder use and safety measures
  • Able to work in extreme environmental conditions of heat/cold
  • Able to kneel, crouch, and balance in all working environments

Experience Desired:

  • Passion for renewable energy
  • Mechanical aptitude

Compensation:

  • hourly wage, flexible schedule
  • schedule flexibility to work 2-5 days per week around project construction schedule
  • $16-$21 per hour, DOE
